    Dickerson Well Drilling, Inc. is operated by Bill Blair and Bob Gillette. We are in association with Don Blair Pump Service to handle pump installation and service after the well is constructed. We have expanded into the geothermal and foundation drilling markets.

    To us, honesty and integrity are more than just words to persuade you to call us. We take a great amount of care to make certain that our services, labor, and state of the art equipment are priced fairly...no more, no less. In the Old Testament we are told to give a full & just weight       (Deuteronomy 25:15 ). This means not just doing the minimum, but constructing a well in a manner that lasts. It is important to understand this when looking for a well driller.

    You will get varying prices per foot. An honest driller may quote you a higher price per foot but will only drill as deep as necessary and construct the well properly to withstand time. Others may quote a lower price per foot just to get your business, but drill far deeper than necessary, raising your overall cost for your well and pump system.

    REMEMBER THIS, unlike other stages of your development, such as septic                            system, foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical, insulation, etc. where an                       inspector from the county actually comes out to the job site in order to                            inspect whether or not you actually  did the work that you claim to have done,                           we as water well drillers are not inspected in the same manner at all.                                  The majority of "inspection" occurs when a person at the state reads a well                          report that we as drillers have sent into the state within 30 days of                            completion of the well. Basically, we are Self Inspected. This means that                              what a driller writes down on the report, the State inspectors have to                               accept as truth; unless, the report raises obvious questions. Rarely does an inspector make a field inspection out to the well site during the stages of construction.

    A service that we offer to you that can save you many difficulties later on is research. Before you make a land purchase, please call us and we will advise you about the land and potential success of finding water. Some areas are very difficult to find water while other areas have more than adequate wells. Save yourself TIME and MONEY before you purchase. Do not take a seller's, realtor's, or any other person's word for the area being good for water. Do the research yourself. We can direct you to well records for your area.

Our air rotary and cable tool drill rigs allow us to drill in any formation or area in the state.

    The counties that we primarily operate in are Polk, Marion, Yamhill, Lincoln, Tillamook, Benton, Linn, Washington, Clackamas, Multnomah, Clatsop, Columbia and Lane counties in Northwestern Oregon. Referrals are available for water well needs in other counties.
